Cha Roberts and AromaEducation

To kick off Women’s History Month please join me in celebrating the work of Cha Roberts of AromaEducators School of Essential Oil Studies. She offers classes and education about the safe and practical use of essential oils in a professional setting, for personal self-care and support.

Cha taught AromaEducation at a massage school for 10 years before starting her own business in 2014. The best part about her work is that she loves teaching about aromatherapy. And it’s even better when  “the light pops on when students understand the benefits of using essential oils in aromatherapy”.  The pandemic has severely impacted her business because she has been unable to teach in-person classes and that is the core of Cha’s work.

There is however, hope. Cha now has an opportunity to create online classes with a local company and this looks promising because she will also be able to conduct in-person classes at their facility when the pandemic begins to lift.

In Cha’s own words, “I am an artist first and before I became a teacher I was a textile artist. I poured all my heart and soul into my art work. Well even in a pandemic, I am still an artist as I develop curriculum for my classes. Business Leaders of Colors provides me exposure to a large group of eclectic people and businesses. While it doesn't just target my market, it does allow  others in the network to see and learn about aromatherapy and how essential oils can impact their families, employees and businesses”.  Thank you Cha for sharing your heart and soul with us!
